WELLS C. (SKIP) LEWIS Wells C. (Skip) Lewis, 80, of Branchport, N.Y., passed away on March 14, 2024. He was born in Elmira, N.Y., the son of the late Kenneth and Edna Wells Lewis. He attended Horseheads Schools and graduated from Horseheads High School Class of 1961. After graduation he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 through 1965. Skip furthered his education at Rochester Business Institute and Ferris University in Big Rapids, Mich. He married his wife Margaret Rose Hilbert Lewis on December 14, 1968, and they recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Skip owned Penfield Plastics Inc., and founded CCMI Inc. in Geneva, N.Y. Skip is survived by his wife, Margaret Rose Hilbert Lewis; sons, Ryan (Nichole) of New Fairfield, Conn., and Anthony (Michelle) of Branchport; grandchildren, Cole and Grace (CT), Lakelyn and Lincoln (Branchport). He is also survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. His favorite joys in life were his family, Keuka Lake, boating, fishing, golfing, fine dining, traveling and enjoying his many friends. A celebration of Skip's life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Valley Inn, 2862 Guyanoga Road in Branchport.
