Barbara Ann Vickers

Barbara Ann Vickers, 85, Marion, passed away at 12:30 am on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Rolling Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center in LaFontaine. She was born in St. Joseph, Michigan, on Monday, November 13, 1939, to Edward and Kathleen (High) Post.

Barbara graduated from Benton Harbor High School. She retired from the Marion VA as Chief Health Information Management. She was a member of Grace Community Church and enjoyed motorcycle riding, square dancing, clogging, traveling, painting and playing euchre. She was a HUGE Indianapolis Colts fan and loved to watch them play! She also volunteered at Bridges to Health. She especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Novia "Tom" Vickers of Marion; daughters, Connie (Gary) Tyler of Noblesville, Carla Jean (Carl) Ehrhart of Amboy; grandchildren, Devin G. Tyler, Dustin L.(Mary) Tyler, Cayla M. Ehrhart, Cassandra V. (Michael Borgeson) Ehrhart; siblings, Margaret Mary (late Donald) Fredricks of Carleton, MI, James A. (Cathy) Post of St. Joseph, MI, Brother, John L. (Debbie Perrone) Post of Coloma, MI; great-grandchildren, Isabella V. Richey, Jackson Tyler, Liam Tyler, Ezekial Tyler, and Camilla Tyler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Kathleen Post, Sr.; first husband, Carl R. Orman; brothers, Edward L. Post, Jr. and Ronald D. Post.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Barbara's life will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Entombment will take place at Gardens of Memory - Marion.
