Send FlowersBeatrice K. DeHoff, 82, Marion, passed away at 3:52 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on Friday, July 16, 1943, to K. and Berniece (Hodson) Small. On June 24, 1961, she married David L. DeHoff who preceded her.
Beatrice graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked as a manager for 20 years with McClure Oil and Save-On Liquor. She enjoyed spending time watching her grandchildren's sports and activities, always proud to support them. Driving through the countryside brought her peace, while listening to the oldies, especially Elvis Presley music. She was a loyal fan of Indiana sports-cheering for the Pacers, the Fever, and the Colts-and she rarely missed a NASCAR race. Her love of gardening and canning reflected her appreciation for tradition and the satisfaction of hard work. These simple pleasures and routines were a meaningful part of her life and brought joy to those around her.
Survivors include her daughters, Robin L. (Marty) Pattison, Tamara S. Dockerty; grandchildren, Raelyn Pattison, Matthew Pattison, Dirk (Michelle) Justice; great-grandchildren, Haylee (Brandon) Bass, Ashton Justice; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Dean Small, Darrell Small, Gary Small, Randy K. (Kristie) Small; bonus grandson, Mat Mount; and special friend, Seenie Kling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, K and Berniece L. Small; husband, David L. DeHoff; sisters, Vicky E. Small, Marjorie Marlene Wilson; brother, Donald A. Small; son-in-law, Wayne Dockerty; and sisters-in-law, Juanita Small and Susie Small.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN 46952.

She was a good lady in school and a good neighbor later with her family. I will keep family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.
