Christopher Hisey Obituary

Christopher Paul Hisey, 58, of Marion, was taken from us on June 1, 2024 in an automobile accident. He was born on December 1, 1965 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Donald Hisey and Wilma Jean (Griffin) Hisey Mullinex.

He was a former member of the Swayzee Volunteer Fire Department and the former Masonic Lodge of Swayzee. Chris spent many years at Thomson Consumer Electronics (RCA) and was currently an apprentice millwright in Local 1076 out of Greenwood. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and boating on the Mississinewa, spending time with his grand kids playing baseball and teaching them welding.

Chris is survived by his his sons, Matthew P. (Shelby) Hisey, Kokomo; Dennis Pugh, Marion; Jarred Hisey, Florida; Theresa (Cody) Johnstone, Marion; 9 grandchildren who were the light of his life.

He is also preceded in death by his step-father, Paul Mullinex.

A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held from 11am-1pm on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana. Online condolences may be made at www.owenweilertduncan.com.
