David Sprowl Obituary

David Gerard Sprowl, 51, Marion, passed away at 3:06 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, January 29, 1970, to David and Judith (McKenzie) Sprowl. On April 28, 1990, he married Julie Crawford and she survives.

David graduated from Marion High School and graduated magna cum laude from Ball State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in history and political science. He worked as a Family Advocacy Manager at The Arc of Indiana. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.

Along with his wife, survivors include his son, Stephen Sprowl of Marion; nephew, Joshua Lee Sprowl; sister, Cecelia "Lucy" Ann (Dana) Taylor of Huntington; and nieces, Mariah Taylor, Britany Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Judith Sprowl.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner-Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, IN.

A Funeral Service to celebrate David 's life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Needham-Storey-Wampner-Storey Chapel. Pastor David Morris will be officiating with burial following at Riverside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Carey Services 2724 S. Carey St., Marion, IN 46953.
