Glenn Fitzjarrald Obituary

Glenn Fitzjarrald, 85, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. Born on March 28, 1940, to George and Wanda (Collins) Fitzjarrald in Marion, Indiana, Glenn lived a life marked by love and dedication. He married his beloved Sandra K. Wagner on July 15, 1961, and they shared a beautiful marriage that lasted 64 years.

Glenn was a very caring and loving person who would do anything for anyone, especially for his family. Glenn served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. After serving in the Army, Glenn worked as a semi driver, a bus driver for Marion, a transporter for Meals on Wheels, and as a painter. Glenn's dedication and hard work were evident in everything he did, and his love for family and friends was always at the forefront.

Glenn was someone who truly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Whether it was fishing, cooking, or just being surrounded by friends and family, Glenn found joy in every moment. Many of us have fond memories of sitting around the table with him, sipping coffee, and sharing stories and ideas. Glenn had a special way of making each holiday season memorable, especially with his homemade noodles that became a family tradition. His love for joking around and having a good time was infectious, and he always knew how to bring a smile to everyone's face.

We all have so many wonderful memories with Glenn. He had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. Even though he's no longer with us, we know he's looking down, still caring for us with that same warmth and kindness.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra, his children, Brian (Kim) Fitzjarrald, Lisa (Steve) Johnson, Teresa (Eric) Trowbrdige; grandchildren Shaun, Rachel, Jesse, Alex, Aaron, Joshua (Kylee) Johnson, and Jeremy Johnson; great-grandchildren Caleb, Avory, Hallie, Mac, Noah, Payton, and Devlin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Jeffery Scott Fitzjarrald, his four brothers, and two sisters.

Revelation 21:4: "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
