I've knew Larry for many years back when we were in high school and we used to go to the First Baptist Church down on A Street. There was one time when we went swimming out at Clearwater park and he got a cramp on his leg and I pulled him back to shore. Then he waited for a little while and then went back in. Dog-gone if he didn't get another cramp and I pulled him back in again. Later he said he was thinking about going back in again, but he didn't think I would pull him back in a third time. I would have but we always had a good laugh about it. He's always been a great friend and would greet me when I came back to town and we met. Rest in peace, till we meet again, Larry. Bud.

Larry was a great man and helped many people, too many to mention names. He was a man of faith and loved his family. It is a great loss for Gas City. I knew him and he knew my dad, Jake Minch. Rest in peace Larry and may the face of God shine on him forever.
