Jason W. Atkinson, 53, passed away on December 14, 2025. He was born on September 6, 1972, in Marion, to the late Glenn Robert and Virgina L. Atkinson.
He was graduate of Marion High School and found his professional home at GBT, Inc. Jason is survived by his wife, Ashley N. Atkinson; his brother, Bob Atkinson; stepchildren, Richard Weeks, Breeanna Sota and Taya Nicole Bryant.
A memorial service to celebrate Jason's life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10am-11:30am in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana. Online condolences may be made at www.owenweilertduncan.com.

Jason worked on the railroad for 15 years with a good group of guys that are saddened to hear of his passing. Jason was a special kinda guy stubborn but had a heart of gold to help anyone when they needed it. Jason spoke often of his family and expressed how much they meant to him.
