Send FlowersJoseph Lee "Papaw Joe" Hutsinpiller, 68, of Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at 5:32 pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 in Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center of Carmel. Born on April 5, 1957, to Veronica Hutsinpiller, Joe lived a life marked by hard work, deep faith, and unwavering love for his family.
Joe dedicated 23 years of his life to Foster Forbes, where his strong work ethic and commitment earned him the respect of his peers. He later continued his career as a dump truck driver, working 13 years for Diamond Trucking and 10 years for Shoshone Trucking. Joe took great pride in his work and the friendships he built along the way.
On March 27, 1987, Joe married the love of his life, Jackie Riggs. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and enduring devotion. A proud member of Faith Apostolic Church in Marion, Joe found strength and community through his church family.
Joe had a passion for life's simple joys. He loved watching old Westerns, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and heading outdoors to shoot guns when the weather allowed. He was a man of quiet strength, with a kind heart and a great sense of humor that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jacqueline K. Hutsinpiller of Marion; daughters, Suzette Winters of Marion and Senida Hutsinpiller of Marion; son, Charlie Barrow of Marion; grandchildren, Brittany, Lindsey, Antwon, Amanda, Aliza, Fancy, Justine, Jasmine, Jarrod, Gavin, Haleigh, Moleigh, McKenzie, Zach, Brooklynn, Brandon, and Kaleesha; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Dixon and Kathryn Knight; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
