Send FlowersMeggan "Meg" L. Planck, 43, of Marion, passed away at 1:45 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 3, 1982, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Rhonda (Oaks) Ray. On May 20, 2006, she married the love of her life, Tyler J. Planck.
Meg graduated from Oak Hill High School in 2000. She earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University Kokomo and later completed her master's degree at Capella University. She dedicated her career to mental healthcare, serving as Operations Director for several years, most recently at Community Health. Meg was also an active member of the Wabash Cancer Warriors. Outside of work, Meg had a passion for baking, coaching club volleyball, and reading. She loved traveling with her family--especially trips to the beach. Above all, Meg cherished her role as a devoted wife and mother, going to all of her children's sporting events.
Survivors include her father, Andrew Paul; mother, Rhonda Ray of La Fontaine, IN; her loving husband, Tyler J. Planck of Marion, IN; her children, Kiersten Jayde, Landry Jay, and Rosie Jayne Planck, all of Marion, IN; her siblings, Brittany Nettleton, Chase Nettleton, Brittany (Brian) Spenn, and Ben Paul; her in-laws, Marc and Beth Planck; her grandmother, Beverly (late Verlin) Paul; her brother-in-law, Trevor (Cassie) Planck; her nieces and nephews, Connor Planck, AnnaBeth Planck, Jaxton Spenn, and Kaine Nettleton; her beloved dogs, Breezy and Oakley; along with several aunts, uncles, extended family members, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Leroy (Lucille) Oaks, and four cousins, Adam Oaks, Chris Oaks, Cody Secrest, and Zack Rowland.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
A celebration of Meg's life will follow at 1:00 pm, with burial at Converse Cemetery.
