Nancy Heim, a spirited and warm-hearted woman known for love of family and quick sense of humor, passed away on May 23, 2025. Throughout her life, she brought energy and kindness to everything she did – whether managing a restaurant or sharing a laugh with loved ones. Nancy's work ethic and leadership shone during her time as manager at Noble Roman's Pizza in Marion, where she became a familiar face to many.
Nancy was preceded in death by parents, Winston and Nelrose Morton as well as first husband Richard Heiser, second husband Robert Stradling, almost-third husband Don Pettiford, fourth husband Joe Heim & sister, Ramona Seagrave.
She is survived by her children Jim Stradling, Tracy Stradling and Andy Stradling, and siblings Mike Morton, Chuck Morton and Eileen Lemons. Her legacy continues through beloved grandchildren: Kathryn, Tyler, Shelby, Jacob, Connor & Cristina and her great-grandchildren: Zoey, Paisley, Klara, Karson and Benjamin.
Nancy will be remembered for her strength, humor, and unwavering loyalty to those she cared about. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the time they shared with her. A Celebration of Life will be on June 21st at Hawthorne Properties Clubhouse, 5490 Thornapple Lane in Lafayette. Family and friends are welcome to stop by between noon and 3pm for laughter and light refreshments.
