Regina "Jeannie" Farr, 89 of Marion Ind, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday January 5th, 2025. Born on February 22, 1935 to Benjamin and Margaret Dickover.
Jeannie graduated from Swayzee High School in 1953. She previously worked at Landola, Converse Ind., and was the previous owner/operator of Shady Hills Country Club, Marion. Jeannie was a member of the Moose Lodge and Women's Democrats of Grant County. Jeannie enjoyed home making, cooking, decorating, joking and laughing, most importantly visiting with family and friends. She also loved Nascar and watching the races. Jeannie will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by son, William Mauldon, daughter Jenny Gardner, sister Cheryl Dickover, brother Tom (Doris) Dickover, and a special daughter-in-law Nancy Yeakle. Also survives 4 grandchildren, Bill (Heather) Lomely, Al (Carrie) Marin, Lisa Mauldon, and Andrea Mauldon, 6 great-grandchildren, Benjamin Lomely, Nolan Lomely, Al Marin, Bella Marin, Alonna Marin, and Nakita Mauldon-Lewis. A great-great grand-daughter Ny'Aylaa Lewis, a special niece Lori Dickover, a special nephew Joey Dickover, along with several other nieces and nephews.
Jeannie was proceeded by her parents, husband Neil Farr Sr. daughter Starr Mauldon, and brother Steve Dickover.
There will be no services, a celebration of Life will be March 16th, 2025 at 3pm located a Hontz Hall in Gas City, Ind.

Jeanie was a champion. Her 'never say die' attitude and quick wit were blessings to every one who knew her. I am crushed by this loss. My deepest condolences to her wonderful family. May her memory be a blessing.
