Ruby M. Wyatt, 91, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in her home. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, January 23, 1931, to Clyde and Mary M. (Huffman) Weber. On July 31, 1976, she married Donald M. Wyatt, and he preceded her in death.
Ruby was a 1949 graduate of Marion High School. She retired from Cablec Cable Company (formerly Anaconda Wire & Cable, Ericsson BICC, General Cable) after 27 years as their secretary. She was a member of First Friends Church.
Ruby enjoyed walking, crocheting, reading, and working jigsaw puzzles. She also enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling team for several years. She loved her family and her cat, Buddy.
Survivors include her daughters, Annette Ziegler, Mary Wells, and Wendy Reagan, all of Marion; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dawn Reagan; son-in-law, Mike Christie; sister-in-law, Gene Ann Weber; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brothers, Donald Weber and John Franklin Weber; son, Wesley Allen Reagan; daughter, Terri Lea Christie; step-daughter, Mary Jane Alger; grandson, Mark Tincher; great-great-grandson, Alonzo John Contreras; sons-in-law, Darl Ziegler and Richard Wells; and brother-in-law, Sam Baer.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Ruby's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dwight Elliott officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
