Ruth Anna Chaplin, 93, of Marion, passed away at 7:10 am on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Marion Health. She was born in Washington Township, Indiana, on Tuesday, December 1, 1931, to Walter and Mary (Bradford) Howard. On August 5, 1948, she married John Edmond Chaplin, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.
