Sara Lou Briggs, age 97, of Geneva, IN. passed away at 5:10 PM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Woodcrest of Decatur in Decatur, IN. She was born on Thursday, March 1, 1928, in Celina, OH. Sara D. married James Briggs, Jr. on Friday, August 4, 1950 at the First United Methodist Church, Geneva, IN; he preceded her in death on April 14, 2011.
As per Sara's wishes, there will be no viewing or services.
Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
