He was my 5th grade teacher and basketball coach. The best there was. He had my brother and was friends with my aunt and uncle. Great person. He will be missed.

Mr. Hauenstein was my fifth grade teacher at Northwest Elementary. He was definitely one of the best teachers I ever had. I still fondly remember when we made apple cider using an apple press, and then looked at samples of it under the microscope to understand why pasteurization is became the best practice. He definitely made a positive impact in my life and in the lives of his many other students over the years. He won't be forgotten!
