Albert E Denton, age 84, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away April 22, 2022 at his home under the loving care of his family and Vitas Hospice.
Born on September 2, 1937 in Waterbury, CT to Arthur and Irene (Hebert) Denton. Albert moved to Citrus County 22 years ago from Torrington, CT where he was a Letter Carrier for the U. S. Postal Service for 30 years. Albert was a Navy veteran, a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church, the Beverly Hills Fishing Club and he was a volunteer for the Citrus County Sheriff's Office.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by one son, Thomas, and his brother, Edward.
Survived by his wife, Joanne M Denton and two children, Tim and his wife Robin, Clayton Marshall and his wife Collette; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Beverly Manes; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Jason, Samantha, Jessica, Michael and Alec; three great grandchildren, Kinsley, Delaney and Alexander nieces; Jean, Corrine, Katie and nephew John.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Moffitt Cancer Hospital, Tampa, FL.
Private cremation and service will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL.

Mrs. Denton and family, I am sorry for your loss. Al was always such a pleasure and a bright spot in my week when he would make his weekly rounds as a volunteer. He will be missed. God Bless you and your family.
