Alex Di Menna Obituary

Alex J. "Big Al" Di Menna, July 8th, 1959 - June 26th, 2016, of Blauvelt, NY, passed away on June 26th, 2016 at the age of 56. Loving Father, Devoted Husband, Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Cousin and Loyal Friend. He was a highly respected local businessman who gave back to the community in which he loved. Anyone who knew "Big Al", knew that he would be there for them no matter what. Al was known as "Big Al" for his larger than life personality but also for his physique. He was an avid body builder who absolutely loved the gym.
He also loved the beach, to golf, ride motorcycles and have fun. He recently retired to Florida after being diagnosed with a very aggressive form of brain cancer. Unfortunately he didn't get to fully enjoy his retirement, but he was definitely in the place he wanted to be when he passed away.
Big Al is survived by his loving Son Alexander, and his High School Sweetheart and Wife Lisa, his Mother Frances, Sisters Laura and Karen, his Brother Ray and his Wife Lynda, his Niece Kayla and Nephew Ray Ray as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing "Big Al" knows that his passing leaves an unimaginable void, and he will be sorely missed. There will be a New York memorial service held for Alex, with specific plans to be announced in the future.
