Anthony Valentine "Tony" Bak

1946 - 2025

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Anthony ""Tony"" Valentine Bak, age 79, of Beverly Hills, Florida, will be held Saturday, September 27th at 2pm, at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm, at the Beverly Hills Chapel. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to his granddaughter Valerie Anderson. Tony was born April 27, 1946 in Lexington, MI, son of Frederick and Mary (Mazur) Bak and passed away on September 11, 2025 in Beverly Hills, FL. Mr. Bak was a Sergeant in the US Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He, along with his wife and family, moved to Citrus County from Orlando in 1980.

Prior to living in Orlando they resided in Michigan. Tony was a General Construction Contractor and along with his wife co-owned Fresh Start Donuts in Beverly Hills and also formerly of Inverness and Reliable Alternative Coating Experts.

He enjoyed attending Rock-a-Billy shows with his wife and, like her, loved spending time with his family. Tony's interests also included 3-D printing, NASCAR, especially Richard Petty, watching Hockey, especially the Detroit Red Wings, and playing Euchre. His family described Tony and as a strong & determined man who was also giving and passionate.

Mr. Bak was preceded in death by his loving wife Susan Kay Bak and his parents. He is survived by his children: David (Tracy) Warren, Sheila (Robert) Bak-Lammerhirt, and Aaron (Cassie) Bak all of Inverness, FL, sister Agnes (David) Hess of MI, brother, John Bak of SC, 8 grandchildren: Valerie Anderson, Mary Anderson, Vicky Brewster, Samantha Coleman, Abigail Bak, Brayden Bak, Nathan Bak and Gavin Bak and 8 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Caleb, Gabe, Amelia, Kiera, Alyssa, Tabitha & Isaac Valentine and 2 great-great-grandchildren: Waylon and Sabrina.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
