A Memorial Gathering for Barbara L. Rose, age 67, of Beverly Hills, Florida, will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Thursday at the Beverly Hills Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.HooperFuneralHome.com.
She was born December 15, 1957 in Pittsburgh., PA, daughter of John and Helen (Demko) Manning. She died October 16, 2025 in Inverness, FL.
She worked in social services for County & State government. She moved to Beverly Hills, Florida from Irmo, SC in 2007. Barbara enjoyed playing video games, baking, listening to classic rock, especially "The Doors" and spending time with her family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 43 years, Philip A. Rose of Beverly Hills, FL, son, Adam (Amber) Rose of Tallahassee, FL, daughter, Sarah (Dennis) Harrington of Port Orange, FL, sister, Debbie Dickson and 4 grandchildren, Amelia, Daniella, Kimberly and Micheala. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory
