Carol Ann Rivers

1944 - 2017

CAROL ANN RIVERS, 72 of Inverness, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 under the loving care of her family, at the Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast Hospice House in Lecanto. Carol was born on December 25, 1944 in Middlebury, Vermont to the late Arthur L. and Marjorie (Dugan) Le Beau. She came to Citrus County in 2005 from Vergennes, Vermont. Carol was a bookkeeper for Le Beau & O'Brien Oil Company and Gas Station for 37 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, playing bingo and visiting with her neighbors in Stoneridge Landing.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 41 years, James S. Rivers; her son Michael Le Beau and his wife, Robin, of Vergennes, VT; Her brother Fred Le Beau of Inverness; her sister Doris O'Brien of Vergennes, VT; granddaughter, Jenney and great grandchildren: Dyllon and Paige. Memorial services for Carol will be conducted on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, with Fr. Clauduis Mganga, of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home at 1:00 PM until service time. Carol will be laid to rest at the Prospect Cemetery in Vergennes, VT. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
