Charles Inamorati Obituary
Mr. Charles "Big Frank" Inamorati, age 84 of Lecanto, Florida, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Vitas Hospice House in Lecanto, Florida.
He was born Sept. 2, 1937, in Lowell, Massachusetts, son of the late Charles and Janet (Morris) Inamorati. Big Frank graduated from Billerica High School, Billerica, MA. After graduation Frank enlisted in the Navy and was assigned to the carrier USS Bon Homme Richard from 1956-60. After the service Frank became a Golf Professional, teaching golf to others. Soon after he became a Tennis Professional. Frank enjoyed coaching high school teams and teaching children to adults. In 1986 Frank moved to Lecanto, FL from Hudson, NH where he continued teaching tennis until his retirement in 2002. Frank loved teaching kids to play tennis. Frank enjoyed both building and playing the Mandolin. He was a member of the Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club.
Frank leaves behind his wife Leona "Duffy" Inamorati of Lecanto, FL, daughter Lisa Tauscher of Havre, MT, Son Peter Inamorati of Beverly Hills, FL, Granddaughter Shannon Tauscher of Portland, OR, and Grandson, Dylan Tauscher of Vancouver, WA. Big Frank's parting words were "So Long Everyone". There will be no services at Big Frank's request. Friends who wish may send memorial donations to Vitas Inpatient House- Citrus County, 3350 W Audubon Park Path, Lecanto, FL, 34461. I never forget frank would love to play jokes all the time on my mom. We lived across the street from frank and Duffy when they lived in California. My mom would be washing the outside windows and every time my mom would get up the ladder frank would call are phone.mom would go to answer the phone and as soon as she got in the house it would stop ringing. And that happen a few more times and then my mom look across the street there was frank laughing. I haven´t seen you or Duffy in years . Have so many memories of your family living on Scott street in California.Duffy Lisa and Peter I send my condolences and are so sorry for your loss . It´s with my deepest sympathy that god will guide you through.
