On June 22, 2023, David W. Jessing Sr., beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother and friend passed away at the age of 82.
He was born on January 21, 1941 in Marlborough MA to David C. Jessing and Lorraine (Lambert) Jessing. He was an Army veteran and held many positions in his life including business owner, coach, real estate agent and marketing professional.
He had a passion for golf and when he retired to Florida, he went to work at Plantation Golf Course. He ultimately wound up at Black Diamond Ranch where he met many lifelong friends and his loving wife Lisa to whom he was married for 25 years. He also was involved in the Corvette hobby which served to provide many amazing trips and adventures with family and friends. He loved football and was Gator and Buccaneer season ticket holder for many years, many great memories were created at games home and away. He had an incredible sense of humor and was well loved by most of the people he came into contact with.
David was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Linda, and niece Vicki. He is survived by his wife Lisa, his children, Patricia Barker and David Jessing Jr, step-daughter, Jessica Scenna, sister, Elizabeth Jessing, brother, Thomas Jessing, his in-laws, Bob and Ellen Malizia, brother in-law, Rob Malizia and family, 6 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 at noon, at the Pine Ridge Community Center, 5690 West Pine Ridge Blvd, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
