Dorothea Barr Obituary
Dorothea Barr, age 76, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024 at The Reserve in Lecanto with the loving support of their staff and Vitas Hospice Care.
She was born on September 10, 1948 in Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Barr.
Dottie proudly served in the US Air Force from July 23, 1971 to July 22, 1977 as a Procurement Officer in Germany getting parts for airplanes so they could continue to fly during the Vietnam War.
Dottie was a member of Seven Rivers Church where she served as a Lifegroup leader bringing the gospel to many. She is survived by her Seven Rivers Church family. A military service will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 at Bushnell National Cemetery at 2:30pm.
