George Rideout Obituary
George was an avid Patriots fan, "Dilly-Dilly", and loved all New England sports. He loved playing softball, water sports, hockey, bowling, golf, and "couldn't be beat at a game of cards". When he wasn't getting involved in some type of sports activity, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a true family man.
George is preceded in death by his two brothers, William and Richard Rideout. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Betty Rideout; his three daughters, Jean (Jeffrey) Lombardi of Worcester, MA, Clarissa (Terry) Ciancia of Inverness, FL, and Samantha (Matthew) Greiner of Middleburg, FL; his brother, Bruce Rideout; his three sisters, Loretta Graf, Diane Schreiber, and Marion Stuckey; his three grandchildren, Corey, Olivia, and Vincenzo; and his four great-grandchildren, Braden, Jonathan, Noah, and Zack.
A Celebration of Life Service with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 am. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.

You are thought of and remembered everyday by all of us. When I see my grandson anthony, I miss being able to show you pictures of him! You would always ask to see them as he was growing up . You would be amazed at how tall he is!! He is doing good George!! You would be proud of him!! Please watch over him! Miss you

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. George and I were friends a long time ago. I tried to get an old navy hat back to him and his family that is a memory I wanted them to have. I hope they got it. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of great loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Rideout family. I worked and played softball with George and not only did he love all sports he was great in anything he played. The main thing I will remember is that he was always a Gentlemen. RIP my friend you will be missed.
