Gerald Raymond Monahan II, 84, of Homosassa, FL passed away August 13, 2025, in Crystal River. He was born on October 4, 1940, to Gerald and Marion Monahan in Binghamton, NY. A lineman for most of his life, Gerald was a Sergeant in the US Army and moved to the Homosassa area 20 years ago from Binghamton. He was a member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed traveling. Gerald was preceded in death by his siblings Michael Monahan, Jimmy Monahan and Joan Ranucci. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joanne Monahan; children Lisa Zikuski and Sean Monahan and his wife Nadine; stepdaughter Julie Graham and her husband Joe as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Private cremation is under the care of Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, FL.

I met Gerry back in the 80s when visiting Binghamton.
