Grace Copeland, age 80, of Inverness, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, in Lecanto. She was born on September 15, 1944, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Grace lived a full and faithful life, defined by her deep love for the Lord and her unwavering devotion to her church family at Pleasant Grove Road Church of Christ in Inverness, Florida, where she was a cherished member. She was a woman of service, committed to uplifting her community through her volunteer work with Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness and her role on the board of Citrus United Basket. Grace's kindness and dedication left an indelible mark on those around her. Grace retired in 2008 after 33 years of service working for Child Support Services in Miami, Florida.
Grace is survived by many cousins, including her close cousins, Bill Grant of Cape Coral, Florida, and Douglas Grant of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Faye Angelotti of Norman, OK, who held a dear place in her heart. She was predeceased by her mother Ilene Copeland, of Miami, Florida, and many aunts and uncles, including Jean Grant of Floral City, Florida, and Mary Blaylock of Inverness, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Grove Road Church of Christ in Inverness on April 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm, to celebrate Grace's life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Pleasant Grove Road Church of Christ or Citrus United Basket, causes that reflected Grace's lifelong commitment to faith and service.

I met Grace in 1980 when I started working at the Child Support Division. I was her supervisor for awhile. I have many fund memories of Grace. She was a very sweet person. I also got to meet her mother. R.I.P. my friend.
