Harold M. Brown, 87, of Beverly Hills, Florida, died Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Beverly Hills. He was born May 14, 1938, in Bangor, Maine, son of Harold and Eleanor (Knight) Brown.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator and tractor trailer driver for several years before becoming the Maintenance Supervisor at the Bangor Housing Authority, Bangor, Maine, there over 29 years. After retirement and moving to Beverly Hills, FL, Harold was employed at Diamond Ridge Heath and Rehab for twelve years.
He was preceded in death by father, Harold Brown, mother, Eleanor Brown, sisters: Lorraine Verrill, Joan Emery, Serene Clement and brother, Clarence Brown. Harold is survived by his loving wife Jane Scarpa-Brown of Beverly Hills, FL, children; Terri (Phil) Dumond of Bangor, ME, Eric (Jewel) Brown of Foley, AL, Sandra (Steve) Caston and Dutch Schroeder all of Mobile, AL, and Karl (Teri) Schroeder of Defuniak Springs, FL, seven grandchildren: Nicole (Doug) Burns of Levant, ME, Garrett Brown of Foley, AL, Cori Byrd, Jessica Caston, Lauren Kreger, Leeah Carter and Hans Schroeder, and Several Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers; Norman (Emily) Brown of Carmel, ME and Gary Brown of Bangor, ME, Brother in Laws, Anthony (Susan) Scarpa of Milton, DE, and Alfred (Nancy) Scarpa of Milford, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
