Herbert Ehninger Obituary

Herbert "Herb" Ehninger, 76, of Hernando, Florida, formerly of Downers Grove, Illinois, died November 23, 2014, under the loving care of Hospice. He was a Citrus County Sheriff volunteer and a member of the Hernando Elks Lodge, #2522.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Carol; children, Elizabeth Bucklin (Brian) and Herb Jr., (Jennifer); grandchildren, Jamy, Brett and Scott Bucklin and Katherine and Victoria Ehninger.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge at 11:30 a.m. on January 4, 2015. A light lunch will be served. Internment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on January 5, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Harry-Anna Trust and sent to the Elks Lodge at PO Box 840, Hernando, FL 34442.

Carol, We are so very sorry for your loss. Herb was an amazing man. We're so happy to have met both of you on our Alaska cruise. And we'll always remember the fun time when we visited with both of you in 2011. God bless you and your family.
