John Gootee Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Sara Connell Arnette, Three Daughters, Leonie Rushing of Ocala, Stephanie Roberts of Ocala and Meredith Alaynick of Riverview, Florida; Two Step Sons, Marshall Wellen of Ocala and Louis Connell Wellen of Castleberry, Florida; Two Sisters, Helen Brown of Jackson, New Jersey and Elizabeth Roebker of Ocala; and Seven Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 18, 2009, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Johnson officiating. For those who wish, may make contribution to the Arnette House, 2310 NE 24th Street, Ocala, FL 34470 or Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478.
Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon is in charge of all arrangements.

Sara: I learned much from you and even the way to do business but there are no lessons in how to be strong through this. I did not know Jack but he had to be a special person for you to have married him. I am so sorry to hear this sad news and send sympathy and my love to you and yours.....

Sara, Beverly & I were shocked to pull up the Star Banner on my Lap Top as we are in Nova Scotia for a couple of weeks to find Jack had passed away.
