News Death Notice
PHILIPPO, John 75, of Lebanon, died Wednesday May 22, 2013. Born May 13, 1938 in Sassenheim, Netherlands to Teunis and Jacoba Philippo, he was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church. A member of the Dutch Immigration Society, he was an entrepreneur working for a company he owned, Van Zonneveld Brothers and Philippo. They specialized in importing Holland flowers to the US. Preceded in death by his parents, survivors include his wife of 50 years, Ann (nee: Mulford) Philippo, one son, Tony (Jeanne) Philippo, one daughter, Lisa Philippo, three sisters, Adrie Van Wink, Riet Van Tol, and Netty Perfors, four grandchildren, John, Drew, Jennifer and Jillian Philippo and one great granddaughter, Penelope Philippo. Visitation, Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 12 Noon till 2 PM with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald- Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment followed in Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials requested to either the Heritage Presbyterian Church or to the Hewett P. Mulford Nature Trail c/o Countryside YMCA. Online condolences available at www.Hoskinsfh.com.
