June Beverly Queripel, age 95, Inverness, FL passed away on March 3, 2024 at the Vitas Hospice House in Lecanto following a lengthy illness.
June was born in Bridgeton, NJ on September 29, 1928 to the late Harold and Laura (Hand) Porter. She graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1946 and graduated from John Robert Powers Modeling and Finishing School in Philadelphia.
June was a certified dance instructor and with her husband Vincent taught at Carnegie Dance Studio in Bridgeton, NJ for many years. She also operated Carnegie Charm and Modeling School. June and Vince retired to Florida in 1993. June was a member of the Kumquat Pie Society ukulele group and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She attended the First Christian Church of Inverness.
Left to treasure her memories are three children, Linda Foster of Inverness, Kenneth Queripel (Deborah) and Ronald Queripel of Bridgeton, NJ; 4 grandchildren, Jillian Queripel, Christine Queripel, Lisa Seitzinger and Amy Phillips; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Vincent Queripel on June 26, 2013 and William Riffe on February 27, 2023.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Thomas of the First Christian Church of Inverness officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in New Jersey.
