Mark Caranci Obituary

Mark William Caranci of Dunnellon, Florida, at the young age of 58, left us suddenly on May 13, 2014. He was born Aug. 15, 1955, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, to Robert and Ruth Caranci. Mark's life was filled with an abundance of beautiful memories with his family, traveling, business ventures, gardening, kayaking and collecting. He was a family man who wasn't afraid of a challenge and would do anything for the betterment of his family and loved ones. His love, devotion and dedication will be sorely missed for a long time to come.
Mark is survived by his parents, Robert Caranci of Port St. Lucy, and Ruth Caranci and Richard Skinner of Plymouth, Massachusetts; mother-in-law, Dina Bauer of Plymouth, Massachusetts; his sisters, Marsha Bourghesani of Hyngham, Massachusetts and Melanie Caranci of Plymouth, Massachusetts; his wife, Helen Caranci of Dunnellon; children, Dina and John Goodenbury of Attica, New York, Lee Ann Merritt of Batavia, New York, Mary and Jason Strachan of Dunnellon, and Megan Caranci of Dunnellon; grandchildren, Hope, JJ and Faith Goodenbury, Jaheim Merrit and Logan Strachan. He is pre-deceased by his grandparents, Henry and May Caranci; Manuel and Mary Jesse and father-in-law, William Bauer.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, May 17, 2014. Family and friends will visit Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m., at Roberts Funeral Home and Crematorium, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon. An additional memorial service will be at United Methodist Church, 29 Carver Rd, Plymouth, Massachusetts, 10:30 a.m. May 31, 2014, followed by a light luncheon.
