He was preceded in death by his father James P. "Jim" Townshend. He is survived by his Mother Jean Townshend of Crystal River, brothers; Jimmy Townshend of Crystal River and Bill Townshend (Robin) of Beverly Hills, sisters; Julie Valenty (John) of Crystal River and Cindy Embach (Mike) of Inglis, FL, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Strickland Funeral Home with Crematory of Crystal River.
