Mitchell Paul Lambo, 77 of Crystal River, FL passed away December 25, 2022 in Hernando, FL. He was born December 24, 1945 to Jon and Grace Lambo in Bronx, NY. Mr. Lambo served our country in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War and was honorably discharged in 1968.
After his service he attended the Florida State University, graduating from there in 1973. He then enjoyed many years as an accountant and bookkeeper. When not working, he loved spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his sons; David Lambo and his wife Jane, Scott Lambo and his wife Michelle and Matthew Lambo and his wife Rachael, grandchildren; Ashley, Tyler, Payge and Lilliana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Eileen Rosen.
The family will be receiving friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River. Graveside committal service with military honors will follow at 2 PM in the Florida national Cemetery.
Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
