Parley Hughes Obituary
Parley Kathryn Hughes, age 82, Hernando, FL passed away June 21, 2023 in Bravera Health 7 Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, FL.
Parley was born in Knoxville, TN on September 7, 1940 to the late Daniel and Myrtle (Roberts) Arnwine and moved to this area in 2004 from Largo, FL. She retired from the Largo Medical Center as the Medical Records Supervisor after 20 years of service. While employed at that facility, she was recognized many times for excellence in performing her duties. She was a member of the Redemption Christian Church in Inverness. While living in Largo, she served as the organist for the First Christian Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 65 years, Lloyd I. Hughes of Hernando, Fl: 2 children: Ronald Hughes and his wife Lisa of Tarpon Springs, FL and Cherie Darroch and her husband Sherelle of Largo, FL; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
There is a Celebration of Life Scheduled for Saturday July 29, 2023 at 3:00 PM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Langdon of the Redemption Christian Church officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until the time of service.

Parley and our mother, Doloris Johnston, shared the duties/opportunities to use their talent of piano and organ playing to serve the Lord at First Christian Church of Largo for many decades. They were great Christian role models! Both are now with their Savior in Heaven. Hallelujah!
