Patricia A. Hammers, age 85, Floral City FL. passed away October 29, 2022 in Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL.
Pat was born in Louisville, KY on June 20, 1937 to the late Thurman Gaither and Catherine (Orwick) Gaither. She moved to Floral City from Springfield, Oh. She was a school bus driver for the Jefferson County, KY school system before moving to Florida.
She was an active member of the Order Of The Eastern Star (Floral City Chapter). She was a devout Catholic.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 34 years, Danny Hammers, Floral City, FL; 1 Daughter, Catherine Tuggle, Harrodsburg, KY; 1 sister, Denise Payton, Round Rock, TX. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Gaither.
Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Matthew Tuggle, Rachael (Clay) Murphy, Zachary (Heather) Tuggle, and Elizbeth (Joey) Cundiff; 7 great-grandchildren: Evan, Porter, Joel, Caitlyn, Raleigh, Andrew, and Theodora.
She was an amazing lady. She left your life brighter with her robust personality, beautiful smile and helping hands. Most of all she loved her family, God and life.
Following cremation, her urn will be laid to rest in the Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, KY.
