Ramon Enrique "Raymond" Coimbre

1942 - 2017

Ramon Enrique "Raymond" Coimbre, born in Coamo, Puerto Rico on May 24th, 1942, went to be with our Lord April 18th, 2017 in the care of his loving family and Hospice of Citrus County. Raymond moved to Inverness in 1997 after his retirement as a Teamster in New York. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church of Beverly Hills and the Spanish American Club of Citrus County.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Maria Elena Coimbre, his children, Raymond Henry Coimbre/Pam of Mansfield, Texas; Bridgette Coimbre/Tony Gonzalez of Tampa; Sherisse Ayala of Orlando; Manuel Coimbre/Michelle of Homosassa and Jesus Cruz and Angelica of New York.
His grand-kids, Christine, Bridgette, Trey, Stephanie, Angie, Izzy, Alana, Theo, Shera, and Shirley. Three great grand-kids Joel, Julia and Enrique and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Aurelio Coimbre, his mother Gloria Garcia, and his brother Abelardo Coimbre, Jr.
He enjoyed sports and was a little league coach for many years. He loved listening to Doo-Wop music and spending time with family and also loved furry friends. He was a true friend and gave so much of himself, was a believer of supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Catholic Charities by sponsoring less fortunate children.
The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life at our Lady of Grace on Saturday, May 20th at 9:30 am. Our Lady of Grace is located at 6 Beverly Hills Blvd, Beverly Hills, FL 34465. Heinz Funeral Home Inverness, FL heinzfh.com
