Robert Clouthier Obituary

Robert P. "Buz" Clouthier, 88 of Inverness passed away April 11, 2024, following a lengthy illness. He was under the loving care of his family and HPH Hospice.

"Buz" was born in Worcester, MA on Jan. 5, 1936. He moved to Citrus County in 1995. He was a retired Draftsman in the electronics industry, working for Raytheon Electronic Technology for 36 years. He served our county in the U.S. Air Force. Buz attended St. Scholastica Catholic Church and was a long time member of the Inverness Elks Lodge.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 67 years, Carol Ann (Stowe) Clouthier; three sons: Steven (Joyce) Clouthier of Bristol, R.I; Jeffrey Clouthier of Charlton, MA, and Vincent (Amanda) Clouthier of Inverness, FL; one sister, Gail Hammond of The Villages; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Clouthier, his stepfather and a sister.

Friends may gather on Tuesday, June 18 at 10 a.m. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. Military Honors are scheduled at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 11:30 a.m. The procession to the cemetery will leave the Funeral Home at 10:45 a.m.
