Robert Halleen Obituary
Robert "Bob" Halleen, 77, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, with his loving family at his side and under the compassionate care of Pam Lutton.
Born on March 20, 1948, in Geneva, Ohio, to Charles and Ruth Halleen, Bob lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and a deep commitment to his community. His entrepreneurial journey took root in Pasco County, Florida, where he also served the public as Vice Mayor of Port Richey in the 1980s and was an active member of the West Pasco Sertoma Club.
In 1990, he continued his community impact when he founded the first of several Love Automotive Dealerships in Homosassa, FL. More than a businessman, Bob was a devoted community leader, a member of Life Church of Wesley Chapel, FL, and was best known for his unwavering support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Citrus County.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Marilyn; his son Chad (Nita); his daughter Aimee Van Alstyne (Steve); and his grandchildren – Rachel, Emma, Riley, Cole, James, Bri, and Stasia. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janet Halleen Wolf of North Olmsted, OH.
Bob will be remembered for his generous spirit, his quick wit, and his unwavering dedication to making a difference.
Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory in Crystal River, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Citrus County in honor of Bob's lifelong commitment to uplifting the next generation.

About 45 years ago my wife, Carol and I met Bob and Marilyn by chance. Since then we have been best friends. We have taken many trips together and played together. We enjoyed watching his kids grow up and be successful. Bob was someone that was always there for me when I needed help. During our separate carriers we often worked together. I even had the privilege of working with him at the Love Automotive Dealerships for over 20 years and we always remained best friends which I understand is difficult, but not for Bob. We always remained best friends. I will always love and truly miss him.
