Robert Rollin Roehl, 87, of Homosassa, passed away on June 24, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Bob was born on Aug. 20, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, to Ann Hamilton and Rollin Roehl.
Bob studied at the University of Colorado before joining the Illinois National Guard. He spent 32 years at GMAC before retiring, excited to devote extra time to his golf game.
Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years Melinda Roehl, two daughters Wendy Roehl and Marcy Barish, grandchildren, and many other relatives. Robert loved his family, traveling, good food and wine, and had a great passion for golf. His memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Friends and family can gather on July 18 at 3:30 p.m., followed by a dinner at 5 p.m. at Sugarmill Woods Country Club in Homosassa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vitas Hospice in Citrus County or The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
