Steve Segura Obituary

Steve John Segura, 59, of Homosassa, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 28, 2011.
Steve was where he wanted to be, at home with his wife, Catherine, surrounded by his son Coty, brother Johnny, daughter Jessica and his two beautiful grandchildren, Kaleb and Keira.
Steve was born on Nov. 28, 1951, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Leewood and Agnes Segura. Steve was preceeded in death by his parents Leewood and Agnes Segura, brother Shelton Segura and sister Diane Beers.
Steve is survived by his wife, Catherine Segura and daughter Jessica of Homosassa; son Coty Segura and his wife Donna, grandchildren Kaleb and Keira Segura, brother Johnny Segura and his fiancée Mitzi, brother Paul LeBlanc and his wife Julie, all of New Iberia, Louisiana, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Steve was a longshoreman, mechanic, electrician and jack-of-all-trades. Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting, Harleys and classic cars. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Nov. 4, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Suncoast Baptist Church, 5310 Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa Springs, FL 34446.
