That was a very sweet thing to say from the you guys about my dad !

Through the years, the times and occasions we were with Steve, he would express his interest and concern for others. When visiting him at the Citrus Memorial hospital on March 9,2019, Steve gave us a warm welcome.
Even though he was uncomfortable, Steve asked how others were doing. His thoughts were not totally on himself but he expressed kindness towards us and others. Because of Steve's friendliness you felt comfortable around him.

My Dad
I am a lot like you
That's why we don't always get along, it's true
We share the love of animals and plants
From the largest snake to the littlest ant
We have to let go of hurt and anger
From childhood hurts and spiritual danger
My wish for you was to have had a chance
Like at Jason's second wedding more times to dance
Sometimes the hands we are dwelt
To the rest of the world in not heartfelt
It's because of my mom and dad
That I have had many opportunities to feel glad
If things were handled differently
You would have been a professor definitely
You are smart and care about all of your family
Love everyone, food, movies and tv
I love you for sticking around
Be nice to mom, because she is the best and heaven bound
When we all get there one day
There will be no more pain or suffering
Just God's garden away
P.S. I am sorry we didn't know my grandpa, my dad
However. I believe that's the good. that's why sometimes we are sad

Dearest Cindy,

Thank you for how you loved and cared for your precious husband, Steve. I have always admired your devotion to him as a loving, committed wife. I know that God was able to heal much in Brother Steve through the deep, abiding love that you had for him, Cindy, for the many years you all shared together.

Please know that my constant prayers are with you. I continue to have a vision of you seated in peace with flowers continually being lovingly thrown upon you by all of us who love you, and think of you, and pray for you especially at this time. Pease give my greetings and love to Stephane and Troy.

Love,
Lorrie

Absent from the body, Present with the Lord. Thankful Steve (Mike to me!) is out of pain and at peace with the Lord. I have so many memories of him, his brother Billy, our cousins Phyllis and Eddie (Boopsie to us!) and I as children growing up in Miami, Florida. It's amazing what you can remember about events that happened over 60 years ago. Lord, please give comfort to Cindy and the family as they comfort each other with their sweet memories.
