Timothy A. Evans "Bg Tim" died June 13, 2024 at his home.
He was born April 18, 1961 and spent most of his life in Florida. He attended Crystal River High School and Central Florida College.
He was preceded in death by his parents Merlin and Leora Evans. He is survived by his brother Don (Sandy) Evans of Dayton. Indiana, and Tom (Cindy) Evans, of Homosassa, as well as one sister, Connie (Terry) Hubertz, of Lafayette, Indiana, his 2 sons Timothy (Kristina) Evans of Spring Hill, FL and Joseph Evans of Lecanto. Grandchildren included Abigail, Alexis, Anthony, Timothy, and Cadence, as well as others that were like grandchildren to him. He loved all his grandchildren.
Family was super important to him. Memorial service will be held Sunday, August 18 at Nature's Independent Church at Nature's Resort, Homosassa, at 3 p.m., officiated by his brother Tom (Pastor Tex) Evans.
Tim loved boating and fishing, shooting trap, skeet, and pool, boating and camping, and singing karaoke, as well as playing guitar. He taught his sons the importance of saying "I love you" , standing for what is right, and praying before meals. He was an expert mechanic and machinist, and loved to ride his Harley.
He will be missed by all.
