William Gramling Obituary

William J. Gramling, age 87, of Crystal River, FL, passed away October 13, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. William was born on September 30, 1929 in Bronx, NY to William H and Dorothy (Corcoran) Gramling. He moved here 28 years ago from Hazlet, NJ. William was a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 3, St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto, FL Knights of Columbus Council # 14485 and a member of the Holy Name Society in Union Beach, NJ. William served in the National Guard of New York State for 12 years.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son, William J. Gramling, Jr. and his son-in-law, Richard Anzivino.
Survived by his wife of 65 years, Theresa Gramling of Crystal River, FL; six daughters, Kathleen (Joseph) Gallagher of Summerfield, FL, Theresa (William) Wyman of Tallahassee, FL, Patricia (Edward) Grant of Beverly Hills, FL, Doreen Anzivino of Hazlet, NJ, Mary (Richard) Frank of Tinton Falls, NJ and Christine (Walter) Ganz of Freehold, NJ; two brothers, Robert Gramling and Edward (Maureen) Gramling; sister-in-law, Christine Carroll; brother-in-law, Paul Mahoney; fourteen grandchildren, Jennifer Dolan, Timothy Vassas Jr., Kelly Tracey, Ed Grant IV, Laticia Jaminet, William and Erin Wyman, Laura, Philip and Andrew Anzivino, Angela Camporeale, Luke, Connor and Grace Ganz; ten great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Rachel, Caden, Emma, Peyton, Morgan, Madison, Landon and Logan.
Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto, FL.
