ANNIE AILEEN CAMPBELL

Aileen Campbell, age 94, died June 3, 2020 from Coronavirus. Her husband of 64 years died only six days later. She was a native of Highland Park, Michigan. Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of William A. and Hilda M. Berriman. A lifelong Methodist, she loved music and the beach, and was a fierce advocate for her sons and their sports. As a child she lived for a year in Cornwall, England, and enjoyed her many return trips to Europe.

ROBERT MERTON CAMPBELL

Bob Campbell, age 95, died June 9, 2020 from Coronavirus. He was the son of Richard and Josephine Campbell. A native of Detroit, Michigan, he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in WWII in the Pacific, where he was stationed in the Philippines, and was then part of the occupying force in Japan. After the war, he graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, and went on to a 30+ year career with the Internal Revenue Service. He was a lifelong Methodist, loved travel, music, the beach, and all things related to his family.

They are survived by their three sons: Robert B. (Lisa), William R. (Danielle), and James W. (Jennifer Bethke), five grandchildren: Perry, Kristine, Melissa, Spencer, and Blake, and many nieces and nephews. After growing up and raising a family in the Detroit area, the Campbells retired to Pinellas Park, FL in 1984. After over 25 years there, they again retired to what had been their summer condo in Anderson Township, where they were active members of the Mt. Washington United Methodist Church. They will be buried together in a National Cemetery. Services will be held at a future time due to the pandemic. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Mt. Washington United Methodist Church.
