Swigert
Alice B. (nee Payton). Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Swigert. Dear mother of Diane Siegel, Peggy Lawson, Susan (Glenn) Griffith, Roger, Terry and Floyd Swigert. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the age of 85. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Wednesday 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Old St. Mary's Church, 13th & Main Sts., Downtown, at 1:15 p.m. Interment at St. Joseph New Cemetery. In my 25 years of ministry, I will always have a special place in my heart and mind for Alice. She had a heart that was golden and beautiful, yet also fragile and tender. She touched many lives in ways that were subtle and blessed. I give thanks for having met her and being able to call her a friend.
