Harrison - Alvin G. Biggs, age 83, of Harrison, OH passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, Alvin was the beloved husband of the late Dolores "Mick" Schuler-Miller (nee McGinnis) and the son of the late Gus and Dorothy (nee Rolfes) Biggs, of Miamitown, OH.

Mr. Biggs was a retired Tool & Die maker, who started his career at Fisher Body, working the bulk of his career at A-G Tool & Die.

He was an accomplished stained glass artisan, who benevolently gave away his stained glass creations. As a long time square dancer, he was an active member with the River Squares and several local square dance clubs. His love of travel with Mick took him to 49 states and abroad to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Spain, and his favorite Ireland. 'Papa Al' was a wonderful example to his step great-grandchildren on how to be friendly, moral & caring. A kindhearted and self-less soul who will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Alvin is survived by Sisters Evelyn Johnson and Vera Dunsieth; Step-children Thomas (late Bernice) Schuler, Peggy (Jim) Lockwood, Gregory Schuler, Diane Majewski and Lisa (Bob) Campbell; 13 step-grandchildren, and 17 step-great-grandchildren; Sons Glenn (Ann), Dwayne (Debbie), and Keith Biggs; Daughters Theresa, Alicia and Jeanine Biggs, and 5 grandchildren.

No services will be held. Alvin's body has been donated to science, at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. Mick's family is planning a celebration of both Al & Mick's life in the summer.
