Crescent Springs - Barbara Ann Phillips Stuart, 82, passed into God's Paradise on August 13, 2018. She was born February 9, 1936 in Cincinnati and was the daughter of the late Richard and Bertha Phillips. She was predeceased by her husband Keith Stuart, son Richard Cook, and sister Nancy Boike. Left to cherish her memory; sister Beverly Todd; son Jeffrey Cook (Laura); daughter Diane Roll (Doug); son Daniel Cook (Louisa); daughter Lisa Fender; Step-daughters who loved her as a mother: Diane Wright; Leslie Messenger (Chuck); Dana Frey (Paul); Cristi Sellman (Reid); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. Although she had several interests, it was her family that brought the most joy and purpose to her life. She was a devoted, loving, and committed wife, mother and grandmother who truly cherished spending time with her family. She used the talents and gifts that God endowed within her to the betterment of her family and those who came to know her. She accomplished God's purpose for her life by striving to love others as Christ loved us. A visitation will be held at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati 45223, Ohio on Friday August 17, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 PM with a funeral to follow at 12:00 PM. At the conclusion of the funeral, interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Cincinnati Children's Hospital or American Heart Association.
