MaryAnn (Maloney) Stuart, 90, of Sturbridge, Massachusetts and formerly of West Hartford, Connecticut, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 31, 2026. She was born in Malden, Massachusetts in 1935 to William and Esther Maloney. MaryAnn attended nurse's training at Sacred Heart School of Nursing in New Hampshire. After graduation, she worked at Hartford Hospital and as a private duty nurse before working for many years as a charge nurse at St. Mary Home in West Hartford, Connecticut.

MaryAnn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years Norman L. Stuart, and her siblings William Maloney Jr., Jean Werner, and Robert Maloney. She is survived by her four children Douglas (Mary) Stuart, Michele Stuart, Wesley Stuart, and Pamela (Robert) Kovach and her brother Stephen (Bettye Jean) Maloney. MaryAnn is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Victoria (Colleen) O'Brien, Megan Stuart, Robert Kovach, Allison (John) Batista, Elizabeth (Alex) Mazukiewicz, Joshua Kovach, Rebecca Kovach, and Gianna Kovach and her ten great grandchildren, all of whom she adored being Nana too.

A calling hour will be Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, Connecticut. A memorial ceremony will be held at the funeral home immediately after the calling hour, followed by a procession to Holy Cross Cemetery, 17 Wickham Road, Glastonbury, Connecticut for entombment. The family would like to express their gratitude for the exceptional love and care given by her long-time caregivers, Marcie, Renee, and Nafisa.
